Why this site does not favour either operation

The cluster already publishes a thorough account of what each operation is: fat removal and abdominoplasty each have their own guide. Reproducing that here would help nobody. This site exists for the stage before it, when someone is deciding which of the two describes their problem, and needs the differences stated as facts rather than as a scorecard. There is no favoured column, no rating and no highlighted option, because the correct answer depends on tissue that only an examination can assess.

What that changes about the writing

Both operations are given equal weight and equal candour. The guide on what fat removal leaves behind is as direct about loose skin and contour irregularity as the guide on abdominoplasty is about a long scar, drains and a longer recovery. Whichever of the two a patient is considering, this site states what that operation cannot do, and it does not treat one as a stepping stone to the other or as the complete version of it. Combining the two is described as a third option with added risk, not as the finished answer.

How it is reviewed

Content is medically reviewed by Tongchun Mao, MD, head of aesthetic surgery at Chongqing West District Hospital, and the review date appears on every article. The site names no product and no brand, quotes no dosage and no price, guarantees no outcome, and states plainly that the scars from both operations are permanent and that both results are judged at six to twelve months.

What no website can do

It cannot tell you how much of your abdomen is fat, how much is skin, and whether the muscle has separated — which is the whole of the decision. It cannot tell you whether your skin will contract over a new contour, or whether your health makes one of the plans a safer one for you. Those answers require an examination. Read this site to arrive at that appointment able to describe your problem accurately, not to arrive at a conclusion without it.
